Treatex^® UV Resistant Oil

Treatex^® UV resistant oil is a resilient water-based finish containing pigments which effectively block UV rays and protect wood from damage. It is non-slip and helps prevent algae.

Usage

For use on garden furniture and boats. Especially good on cedar, teak and other exotic timbers.

Application

Shake and stir well before use.
Surface must be clean, dry and dust free. Algae should be removed. All previous finishes must be removed as the product works by penetrating into the surface.
Apply two coats with a brush.
Treatex^® UV resistant oil is liberally applied “wet on wet” to achieve good wood saturation. i.e. apply 2nd coat before 1st is dry, it will look “muddy” but soon penetrates into the surface.
We recommend yearly reapplication.
1 litre covers approx 15m² depending on application method and timber.
Clean brushes with soap and water.
