Hardwax Oil - Ultra Clear & Ultra Natural

Our Hardwax Oil range is the best product to use on your hardwood floors, where it is specifically designed for treating light coloured timbers such as oak or maple in order to retain their natural appearance. Our Ultra Clear oil will have a warming effect on the colour of light timbers, whilst using our Ultra Natural oil as a base can prevent this colour change.

UV Oil

Oil UV Oil is designed to protect external wooden surfaces from the harmful effects of the sun’s rays, which can dry out, fade and even splinter your wood. This oil can be used on a variety of surfaces, including windows, doors, cladding and other exterior joinery. Importantly, it is not designed for use on horizontal outdoor surfaces such as walkways and decking, where it may cause the timber to break down.

Walnut, Cedar & Larch Oils

These wood oils are designed to protect the natural beauty of different exterior surfaces, where we offer individual oil products for walnut, cedar and larch. Each oil is both UV and water resistant, designed to protect your wood from extreme weather conditions. Anti Slip Decking Oil

The Treatex Anti Slip Decking Oil is designed to protect your wooden surfaces whilst reducing the risk of slippery conditions created by an accumulation of moss and moisture. It contains a polymer made from castor oil which provides this anti-slip effect, where this is designed to be entirely biologically inert.

Classic Colour Collection

The Treatex Classic Colour Collection is designed to produce a durable finish on both indoor and outdoor wooden surfaces. It can protect your wood from tough outdoor weather conditions whilst providing a lasting finish that won’t flake or peel over time. It also is entirely free of biocides and preservatives, meaning it is environmentally safe for use in the interior and exterior of your home.

Cleaning Products

When it comes to keeping your wooden surfaces in top condition, it is vital that you establish a thorough cleaning routine. Our range of effective cleaning products are designed to support you in this endeavour, where our selection includes:

Floor & Surface Cleaner

This ready to go surface cleaner comes diluted in a handy spray bottle, so you can simply apply to your floors to see immediate results. Shake well before use and then lightly spray your wooden surface, then wipe with a mop or cloth until dry. Using too much spray cleaner or allowing the wood to remain damp for long periods can cause timber swelling which may damage the appearance of your floors.

Preparation Cleaner

This intensive cleaner is specially formulated for floors that have been treated with our Hardwax Oil. It can remove a thin layer of wax to reveal a fresh surface, perfect for refinishing your wood or applying a fresh oil coat. As such it should not be used for regular cleaning of your floors, and should always be properly diluted - 50 ml of Preparation Cleaner in 5 litres of water is our recommended ratio.

Laminate Cleaner

The Treatex Laminate Cleaner is specially made for use on laminate flooring as well as vinyl or varnish treated wooden surfaces. It is a gentle but effective cleaner that can easily lift layers of grease and grime. We recommend that you dilute this cleaner with water in a 1: 10 ratio, and then clean the area with a damp mop, allowing the floor plenty of time to dry.

Once you’ve chosen the perfect Treatex product for your wooden surfaces, you will then need to ensure that you have all the necessary tools to hand to complete the job. Most importantly, you will need the right brush or roller, where we supply these in a range of sizes to suit any project.
