Treatex UV Oil is a next-generation clear finish that protects timber from the sun's bleaching UV rays. It penetrates deep into the wood, attaching to the timber's capillaries for lasting protection against extreme weather.
1L will cover approximately 25m² in one coat depending on timber and method of application (rough sawn/planed may consume more).
2.5L will cover approximately 50m² in one coat depending on timber and method of application (rough sawn/planed may consume more).
Suitable for: External use
Recommended timbers: Suitable for use on most timbers - please check if unsure. Timbers with a high tannin content such as air dried Oak may still leach tannin in the early stages.
Applications: Claddings, doors, windows. shingles and other exterior joinery - not suitable for decking or other walkways - horizontal timbers may wear sooner.
Treatex UV Oil can be used alone or as a top coat over Classic Colour Collection, Exterior Oils and External Oak Colours

Treatex Classic Colour Collection is a high quality opaque wood finish which has been tried and tested in extreme conditions such as on the coast and in the mountains. This product is manufactured on a base of natural sustainable raw materials including: sunflower oil, soybean oil, beeswax and carnauba wax. Treatex Classic Colour Collection can be used on all types of timber and is the ideal finish for doors, windows, fences, sheds, cladding, kitchen cabinets and other interior or exterior joinery.
0.5L covers approximately 12.5m² in one coat or 7.5m² in two coats depending on the timber and method of application.
1L covers approximately 25m² in one coat or 15m² depending on the timber and method of application.

Treatex Exterior Oil for Wood is a natural, sustainable finish made from sunflower oil, soybean oil and natural waxes, free from toxic substances. It penetrates deep into timber, forming a highly water-repellent, weather- and UV-resistant* surface that resists cracking and swelling. Ideal for new or renovation projects on decking, cladding, doors, windows and garden structures.
*please note: Clear is not a UV protective finish and timbers treated only with Clear will break down and bleach in sunlight much quicker than any of the other options in the range. Clear should only be used to overcoat one of the colour options in the Exterior Oils range. For a near clear finish with UV protection, please use ‘Sheer’ or for the best protection, use one of our more pigmented options.
