When treating oily or dense timbers e.g. Iroko, Ipe, Teak, Jarrah, Merbau etc. thin the first coat of Treatex Hardwax Oil Clear with 10% Treatex Thinner and Brush Cleaner (Isoparaffin). This allows the Hardwax Oil to properly penetrate into these type of timbers.
